Cool Proggie: Trillian
After fighting several problems with MSN Messenger & Yahoo! Messenger, I had just about had enough of the whole IM thing. An associate asked me yesterday if I had ever heard of the Trillian chat client.I checked it out and installed it. After using it for just a few hours, I must say that I like it. A lot. The coolest thing about this particular proggie is that it makes my life easier. Yes, I'm selfish that way, but I'll bet you like this too. Trillian manages several chat clients (MSN, Yahoo!, IRC, AIM and ICQ) combining them into a single client. It's easy to use, a breeze to install and I don't have to juggle a bunch of different chat windows! All of my contacts are on a single list, organized the way I want them, regardless of the client they are using. Too easy!

That program kicks butt, I love it, the only shortcoming to it is it would rather not deal with webcams, but other than that, it rocks, still using it right now. It is nice to have the gang altogether in one IM program
This is the first program of its kind that I have come across. Do you have any experience with other programs of like function?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If I talk about it too much, she gets bored. If I don't mention it, I'm witholding information. I'm sure any married person can relate to this phenomenon. :-)
Go figure, I find a program that I am loving to death, and US-CERT reports an exploit in it already. Damned Script Kiddies!
